01 What is hydroxyapatite toothpaste?

Hydroxyapatite toothpaste uses a calcium phosphate mineral closely related to the mineral structure of enamel and dentin. Published studies have examined hydroxyapatite toothpastes for enamel remineralization, sensitivity, and caries endpoints. Results depend on the formula and study design, and those studies are not clinical trials of Klyyr One+.

02 Is Klyyr toothpaste fluoride-free?

Yes. One+ contains 0 ppm fluoride and a clearly disclosed 10% nano + micro hydroxyapatite blend. Published clinical evidence on hydroxyapatite toothpastes supports the ingredient category; those studies evaluated different formulas, not Klyyr.

03 How does hydroxyapatite compare with fluoride?

Hydroxyapatite is a fluoride-free alternative with growing clinical evidence. In one 18-month adult study, a 10% HAp toothpaste was non-inferior to 1450 ppm fluoride for the study's primary caries endpoint. That study tested a different formula, so it is ingredient-level evidence—not a Klyyr clinical result. Read the full hydroxyapatite vs fluoride comparison.

04 Why nano and micro hydroxyapatite?

Nano and micro are particle-size ranges of the same mineral. Published ingredient research examines how smaller particles interact with microscopic surface defects and dentinal tubules, while larger particles remain closer to the tooth surface. One+ includes both at a combined 10% concentration. Read nano vs micro hydroxyapatite toothpaste.

05 What's the actual ingredient list?

Water, Sorbitol, Glycerin, Potassium Sorbate, Hydroxyapatite (nano & micro), Xylitol, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Cellulose Gum, Xanthan Gum, Zinc Citrate, Aloe Vera, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Mentha Viridis (Spearmint) Leaf Oil, Menthol, Sodium Benzoate, Stevia Rebaudiana Leaf/Stem Extract. That's the whole thing. Paste any toothpaste list into the toothpaste ingredient checker.

06 How can I check another toothpaste’s ingredients?

07 How do I use One+ hydroxyapatite toothpaste?

Brush twice daily with a pea-sized amount for two minutes, then spit. Follow the product directions and any advice from your dentist.

08 Can children use it?

For children under 3, use a rice-grain amount; for ages 3–6, use a pea-sized amount. A caregiver should supervise brushing and encourage children to spit rather than intentionally swallow. Ask your child's dentist about individual needs, especially when switching from fluoride. See hydroxyapatite toothpaste for kids.

11 Is 10% hydroxyapatite the right concentration?

One+ uses a combined 10% nano + micro blend. Ten percent is not a universal efficacy threshold. The 18-month non-inferiority study used a 10% HAp toothpaste of a different formula. Read 10% hydroxyapatite toothpaste.

12 Does hydroxyapatite help with sensitive teeth?

Hydroxyapatite toothpastes have been studied for dentin sensitivity, including their interaction with exposed tubules. Those studies evaluated other formulas, so they do not guarantee a result from One+. Talk with your dentist if sensitivity is severe, new, or persistent. Read hydroxyapatite toothpaste for sensitive teeth.

13 Does hydroxyapatite whiten teeth?

One+ is not a peroxide bleach and is not intended to change your underlying tooth color. Laboratory studies have measured surface-stain removal with other hydroxyapatite toothpastes, but those results are not a Klyyr clinical claim.

14 How long does remineralization take?

There is no guaranteed personal timeline. Studies of other hydroxyapatite toothpaste formulas measure different outcomes over periods ranging from weeks to months. Use One+ consistently as directed and talk with a dentist about persistent sensitivity, pain, or enamel concerns.

15 Can I use it during pregnancy?

All 16 ingredients are disclosed so you can review them with your dentist or OB. Pregnancy can change oral-health needs, so ask your care team before making a material change to your routine.

16 Can I use hydroxyapatite toothpaste with other oral care products?

17 Can I use One+ with braces or aligners?

You can use One+ as a daily toothpaste while wearing braces or aligners unless your orthodontist has prescribed a different paste. Follow their instructions for around brackets, trays, and any fluoride protocol they recommend.

18 Does One+ have the ADA Seal of Acceptance?

No. One+ does not carry the ADA Seal of Acceptance. The Seal is a separate program and is not required to sell toothpaste. Ask your dentist whether a fluoride-free routine is appropriate for you.
