Why does toothpaste burn my mouth?

How to choose

If every mint paste burns

Switch to an unflavored or non-mint toothpaste. One+ is not that product.

If you get canker sores

SLS is the ingredient with the most relevant, still-limited evidence. One+ does not use it. Flavor can still provoke a sore. Change one product at a time and tell your dentist.

If the burn started after a whitening kit

Peroxide products irritate soft tissue. One+ has no peroxide. Give the tissue a chance to settle, and skip brushing harder to compensate.
