Low-foam toothpaste.
Low-foam toothpaste produces less lather than many SLS formulas. Klyyr One+ contains no sodium lauryl sulfate and uses sodium cocoyl glutamate as its surfactant, so the brushing experience is lower-foam.
Foam is sensory feedback, not a score for plaque removal, enamel care, or ingredient efficacy. Brush all tooth surfaces for the time and with the technique your dental team recommends, even when the sink looks quieter.
No SLS
Sodium lauryl sulfate is not in the 16-ingredient One+ formula.
Named surfactant
Sodium cocoyl glutamate provides dispersion and cleansing with less foam than a typical SLS paste.
Foam is not efficacy
Bubble volume does not establish how a toothpaste performs for caries, sensitivity, or enamel endpoints.
Same brushing job
Lower foam does not remove the need to brush every surface and clean between teeth.
Less foam changes the feel of brushing—not the need for complete brushing.
Foam comparison
Bubble volume is not an efficacy score.
The illustration contrasts a typical higher-foam experience with the lower-foam One+ experience. It does not measure cleaning, caries, sensitivity, or enamel outcomes.
The evidence
What the sources actually say
The evidence, in context.
A systematic review of four crossover trials examined recurrent aphthous stomatitis outcomes with SLS-free versus SLS-containing dentifrices. The direction favored SLS-free paste, but the authors called for stronger trials.
The review did not test One+, and it does not turn foam volume into a measure of dental efficacy.

01 Why does One+ foam less?
One+ contains no SLS and uses sodium cocoyl glutamate as its surfactant. It therefore foams less than a typical SLS toothpaste.
02 Does low-foam toothpaste clean as well?
Foam volume alone is not a measure of cleaning or clinical efficacy. Brushing coverage, time, technique, abrasives, surfactants, and the full formula all matter.
03 Is low-foam always SLS-free?
Not necessarily. Read the ingredient list. One+ specifically lists no sodium lauryl sulfate and names sodium cocoyl glutamate.
04 Should everyone with mouth sores use SLS-free toothpaste?
A systematic review suggested possible benefit for people with recurrent aphthous stomatitis, but the evidence base was small and did not test One+. Persistent sores need professional evaluation.
