Mint hydroxyapatite toothpaste.
Mint hydroxyapatite toothpaste combines a mineral choice with a flavor choice. Klyyr One+ lists peppermint oil, spearmint leaf oil, and menthol alongside a combined 10% nano + micro hydroxyapatite blend.
Mint describes taste and sensation. It does not prove antibacterial performance, cavity prevention, or freshness duration. One+ also contains no SLS, so a clear mint sensation should not be mistaken for high foam.
Peppermint
Mentha piperita oil is named on the ingredient list.
Spearmint
Mentha viridis leaf oil is listed separately from peppermint.
Menthol
Menthol contributes cooling sensation and is disclosed as its own ingredient.
Flavor, not proof
A stronger cooling sensation is not evidence of greater cleaning or clinical efficacy.
Choose the mint because you like the ritual; judge the formula by the full label and evidence.
Flavor map
Mint sensation and mineral disclosure are separate.
The flavor side contains peppermint, spearmint, and menthol. The mineral side contains the disclosed 10% nano + micro hydroxyapatite blend. One does not prove the efficacy of the other.
The evidence
What the sources actually say
The evidence, in context.
The ADA overview separates flavoring, detergents, abrasives, anticaries actives, and other toothpaste ingredients by function. That distinction is the useful answer to “does mint mean it works?”
The adult HAp trial tested another toothpaste formula. It does not isolate mint ingredients or establish a One+ result.

01 What kind of mint is in One+?
One+ lists peppermint oil, spearmint leaf oil, and menthol.
02 Is One+ a strong mint toothpaste?
Flavor intensity is subjective. One+ is mint-forward and contains menthol; it is not a dedicated mild or children’s flavor.
03 Does a minty toothpaste need SLS to feel fresh?
No. Flavor and foam are separate. One+ uses mint ingredients for flavor and sodium cocoyl glutamate as an SLS-free surfactant.
04 Does mint make hydroxyapatite work better?
Klyyr does not claim mint improves HAp efficacy. The mint system describes flavor; the 10% nano + micro HAp disclosure describes the mineral blend.
