Is calcium carbonate a remineralizer?
The ADA lists calcium carbonate among toothpaste abrasives, which clean by removing surface stains. Cleaning is its main job.
"Calcium toothpaste" can mean very different ingredients. Calcium carbonate is a common cleaning abrasive. Hydroxyapatite is a calcium phosphate mineral in the same family as enamel. Other products use CPP-ACP, a milk-derived calcium phosphate (as in MI Paste), or calcium sodium phosphosilicate, a bioactive glass sold as NovaMin.
They aren't interchangeable, so check which calcium ingredient is on the label and why it's there. Klyyr One+ contains 10% nano + micro hydroxyapatite and no calcium carbonate.

Casein phosphopeptide–amorphous calcium phosphate, sold as Recaldent in MI Paste. It's derived from milk casein, and GC warns against use with a milk-protein allergy.
Hydroxyapatite is a calcium phosphate closely related to the mineral in enamel. One+ discloses a combined 10% nano + micro blend.

It depends which calcium ingredient you want. For hydroxyapatite, look for a published percentage. One+ discloses 10% nano + micro.
Some calcium ingredients are studied for remineralization; others are just abrasives. See remineralizing toothpaste.
Only in CPP-ACP products such as MI Paste, which are derived from milk casein. One+ contains no milk-derived ingredients.
No. One+ lists no calcium carbonate or silica.
No. NovaMin is a bioactive glass (calcium sodium phosphosilicate). Hydroxyapatite is a calcium phosphate mineral.
