Hydroxyapatite toothpaste for adults.
Hydroxyapatite toothpaste for adults is usually a fluoride-alternative question: what evidence exists, what concentration is on the label, and whether the formula fits an adult’s cavity risk. Klyyr One+ contains 10% nano + micro hydroxyapatite and 0 ppm fluoride.
In one 18-month adult trial, another 10% HAp toothpaste was non-inferior to 1,450 ppm fluoride for the study’s primary caries endpoint. The trial did not test One+. Fluoride still has the larger evidence base and remains the ADA standard for anticaries claims.
Adult trial
The 18-month non-inferiority result is useful category evidence, not a clinical result for One+.
10% disclosed
Nano + micro hydroxyapatite are listed together at a combined 10%.
Fluoride-free
One+ contains 0 ppm fluoride. Individual cavity risk can change the right choice.
Daily directions
Brush, then spit. Toothpaste does not replace exams, cleanings, or treatment.
An adult study answers one evidence question. Your dentist answers the risk question.

Two groups, one primary endpoint, 18 months.
Non-inferiority does not mean every outcome was identical or that every HAp toothpaste is equivalent. The tested 10% HAp formula was not One+.
The evidence
What the sources actually say
The evidence, in context.
The study enrolled adults and compared a fluoride-free 10% HAp toothpaste with a 1,450 ppm sodium-fluoride toothpaste. The HAp paste was non-inferior for the prespecified primary DMFS endpoint.
One+ was not the test product. The ADA source explains why fluoride remains the requirement for ADA-Accepted anticaries toothpaste claims.

01 Does hydroxyapatite toothpaste work for adults?
An 18-month adult trial found another 10% HAp toothpaste non-inferior to 1,450 ppm fluoride for one primary caries endpoint. It did not test One+, and one trial is not the whole evidence base.
02 Is hydroxyapatite better than fluoride for adults?
There is no blanket ranking. Fluoride has the larger cavity-prevention literature. One+ is a fluoride-free option; discuss your cavity history and risk with a dentist.
03 How much hydroxyapatite is in One+?
One+ discloses a combined 10% nano + micro hydroxyapatite blend. Ten percent is a product fact, not a universal efficacy threshold.
04 Can One+ fix an adult cavity?
No. Toothpaste cannot fill a cavity. Pain, a visible hole, a broken tooth, or a new white or dark area needs a dental exam.
