Product Use and Safety
Last updated: August 12, 2026
This Product Use and Safety page explains how to use Klyyr oral care products and how to report a concern. It is part of our Terms of Service. It is not medical or dental advice.
What our products are
Klyyr products, including One+ toothpaste, are oral care products for cosmetic and general hygiene use. They are not drugs, devices, or professional dental treatment. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Statements about ingredients or product benefits have not necessarily been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Always follow the directions on the package you receive. If packaging and this page differ, the package controls for that unit.
How to use toothpaste
Brush twice daily with a pea-sized amount for about two minutes, then spit. Do not intentionally swallow toothpaste. Rinse if directed on the label. Follow any advice from your dentist about your routine.
Children
Keep products out of reach of children. A caregiver should supervise brushing.
- Under age 3: use a rice-grain amount.
- Ages 3 to 6: use a pea-sized amount and encourage the child to spit rather than intentionally swallow.
Ask your child's dentist before switching from a fluoride toothpaste or if your child has special oral-health needs.
Pregnancy and nursing
All currently listed ingredients are disclosed on the product page and package so you can review them with your dentist or obstetric clinician. Pregnancy can change oral-health needs. Ask your care team before making a material change to your routine.
Allergies, irritation, and when to stop
One+ includes mint oils, menthol, stevia leaf/stem extract, and other listed ingredients. If you have a known allergy or sensitivity to any ingredient, do not use the product. Stop use and contact a dentist, physician, or poison-control resource if you notice irritation, swelling, rash, breathing difficulty, or other concerning reaction. Seek emergency care for severe reactions.
Swallowing and accidental ingestion
Toothpaste is for brushing, not eating. Accidental small amounts during normal brushing are a common part of use. If a larger amount is swallowed, especially by a child, contact a poison control center or clinician and have the product name and ingredient list available. Do not induce vomiting unless a professional tells you to.
Not a substitute for dental care
Persistent pain, swelling, bleeding, sensitivity, or enamel concerns need a dentist. Using Klyyr does not replace exams, cleanings, radiographs, or prescribed treatment. Refunds are not an admission that a product is unsafe or clinically ineffective. See our Returns and Refunds Policy.
Storage, lot codes, and quality
Store products in a clean, dry place away from extreme heat. Do not use a product that is expired, damaged, leaking, or has a broken seal. Keep the lot or batch code from the tube or carton if you contact us about quality. Independent lab summaries, when published, are on our Labs page and apply to the tested lots described there.
How to report a problem
Email hello@klyyr.com with your order number if you have one, the product name, lot code, photos, and a description of what happened. We may ask follow-up questions so we can investigate and, if needed, withdraw affected lots.
You may also report a serious product problem to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration through MedWatch at fda.gov/medwatch.
